Countless Christians go to church weekly to hear the word of God concerning their lives. Upon leaving church some attempt to hold unto that word, until something happens in their personal life that knocks the very breath from their inner man. They find out that : they have a sickness, they been laid off, their child is in jail, their child is on drugs, their marriage is falling apart, their finances are in the red, they are suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts. It’s a plethora of situations that believers face on a daily basis, and the only thing that can change that situation is when they absorb the word of completely concerning their situation. When I say completely, I don’t mean merely reciting the word without understanding. But actually dissecting that word and letting it get ahold of their spirit, by passing the natural reasoning of their human mind. When that word bypasses their human mind into the spirit, it has no authority to devalue the ability for God to work a miracle in their life. The writings that have been enclosed in this book reflect pain, disappointment, shame, anger, hope, expectation, and anticipation. It’s through these writings which depict intimate conversations between God and man that show the most vulnerable side of man. The side that many people try to mask to the public eye, and unveil in their most intimate moments with God. Through these conversations, there is deliverance, there is hope, there is a great anticipation of the mighty things that God will do in the life of a believers most challenging times. During my study time, I had the privilege of the studying the Chinese Bamboo Tree. Upon planting the Chinese Bamboo Tree it doesn’t grow until the fifth year in which it grows 80 feet in just six weeks meaning no growth or signs of growth until the fifth year. I come to encourage you that despite what it looks like, continue to be persevere in the things of God, eliminating every mirage the enemy will send to your mind. You have the victory through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, continue to renew your mind, and mediate upon his word daily.
