Seeking the Lord for everything

Everything people were in need of : help, healing, deliverance. Jesus always gave a command (instructions, and directions)

  • Peter was confronted about Taxes by the collectors in reference to Jesus

Jesus commanded him to go to lake, and cast his line taking the first fish he caught and instructed him to take the money out of mouth of fish to pay taxes.

(Matthew 17:27)

  • Jesus attended a wedding and they ran out of wine for the guests

He commanded his servants to fill the jars to the brim with water.

When they served the guests the wine Jesus transformed it was more pleasing to the guests than the first one. (John 2: 1-11)

  • There was a Blind man who was born blind ( John 9:1-11)

He was commanded to go wash in the pool of Siloam and as a result of his obedience he was able to see again

  • Saul had an encounter with God as a result, that changed his life.

He ended up blind in Acts 9:7

Before he was blinded he received an instruction from the Lord that he must go into the city where he will receive instructions. Afterwards the Lord prepared

Ananias to go lay hands on Saul and to be baptized in the Holy Ghost; which enabled Sauls eyes to be open and to preach the gospel.

Every time the people above experienced a situation the Lord gave them specific instructions and directions. As a result of their obedience they received their miracle. What are you believing that God will do for you? What situation are you facing? Unlike the people above we can’t go to him physically in person, but we do have the Holy Sprit and can go to him in prayer. The holy spirit is your advocate (John 14:26).

When was the last time you prayed?

Are you positioning yourself to hear his voice?

Are you making your own decisions based upon human reasoning which seems good to the eye?

Philippians 4:6 declares " Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

If you don’t pray about things and get guidance from the lord you will judge too quickly at times and make the wrong decision, therefore you must pray that God guide you and extend his light upon your situation (1 Corinthians 4:5)

As you seek the Lord, you will receive direction, guidance and peace.

So I encourage everyone, (all of us) to seek the Lord for everything and stay connected in his word. As you read his word, you will hear his voice and receive a rhema word for your situation. So dont faint, don't quit, seek the face of the Lord and he will guide you

Be blessed
