Are you willing to forgive?

How's your forgiveness?

Forgiveness is always a topic of great interest and conflict due to the emotional view point it presents.

Yes the emotional view point.

Everyone here on this earth has endured a situation from a : stranger, companion, relative or associate that warranted then to forgive willingly or unwillingly (to disregard)

But I come to encourage you to forgive that individual that has wronged you despite the magnitude of their deed. You can forgive them yet keep a mental note that you might not be wronged again. But forgiveness is needed.

So many people are harboring painful situations withholding forgiveness in attempt to punish the offender yet their own soul and body is suffering because of the consequence of bitterness, anguish and pain. Yes suffering un-forgiveness affects you health and invites unwarranted medical conditions

Stop harboring un-forgiveness

The bible declares in Romans 12:20 if your enemy is hungry feed him. If he is thirsty give him a drink because in doing so it will be a heap of coals on his head

Deuteronomy 32:35 declares vehemence and recompense belongs to the lord

Why are we advised to forgive and do good to our enemies? Do you know how uncomfortable it is to receive favor from someone that does good to you?

Do you know how it would trouble them when they sleep?

Most times we look at forgiveness as being soft, easy walked over, ignorant or simply blind. But it's totally the opposite. God encourages us to forgive. Even unto Peter he advised him to forgive 77 times 7 in Matthew 18:21. For that is the will of the father. As you walk in obedience you are fulfilling the perfect will of our Heavenly Father he will fight your battles. He will seek your vengeance and recompense.

He doesn't want you to do evil for evil but rather walk in love. 1 Thessalonians 5:15 Declares make sure that nobody pays wrong from wrong but always strive to do what is right.

Galatians 6:9 be not weary in doing good for in due season you shall reap if you faint not.

My sister, my brother let that situation go stop worrying about how that person wronged you and you can't forgive them

Forgive that ex husband

Forgive that husband/ wife of what they did.

Forgive your parents for what you endured.

Forgive that that child for hurting you.

Forgive my brother, forgive my sister.

For in doing so Mark 11:25 says that as you forgive your father will forgive you of your sins.

I know it might seem like you are giving them the upper hand, but in reality you are giving the situation over to the Lord. Let it go, and Let God handle it.

2 Corinthians 12:9 declares that “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in your weakness.

Matthew 11:29 declares my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

My sister, my brother, that situation that you are fighting to hold on to, again, I say let it go. Exchange it with the Lord, for his peace, and his strength. He will help you, He will strengthen you, He will empower you.

As you do so you are letting your light shine. Be encouraged it is well

May God continue to bless you
