Psalm 121:4 New King James Version
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
Have you ever found yourself in a position where you were trying trying to:
· meet an important deadline
· take care of a loved one
· work on a business plan
· work on your vision
· stay out of harms way
If you can recall, it may have been very stressful, exhausting, or irritating as you went about this task. It may have been necessary to schedule time for your self care to take naps, plan time to eat, and spend time with your loved ones. As much as you wanted to, you couldn’t achieve everything in one day.
It is God’s will that you prosper.
The Bible says
“3 John 2 Amplified Bible
Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. God desires you to prosper in every area of your life: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Therefore, you must take time to commit your cares and concerns into the hands of the Lord. As much as you may think that you may be superman or superwoman; the fact is that you only can do so much. But there is someone higher than you that doesn’t get tired.
He is: Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent
God is a limitless God and can be everywhere at the same time, therefore nothing takes him by surprise. God is concerned about everything in your life.
Rather than overworking yourself to the point of exhaustion or stressing yourself out to the point of depression, he desires to help you. As you go before the Lord in prayer, he will strengthen you, refresh you and keep you from the assigned against your life. Therefore you don’t have to worry about whites going on behind the scenes, God sees it and God’s got you!
When the children of Israel were released from Pharaoh, they were led in an unfamiliar way. God guided and led them by a pillar of fire by night to provide light and a pillar of God by day to guide them (exodus 13:21-22)
Every step of the way, God was there for the children of Israel. Every step of the journey as you allow God to lead you….He will be there.
