Your God will deliver you…shutting the mouth of the enemies

Every written decree of the enemy concerning your life, destiny, family, shall be cancelled.

The book of Daniel 6, starting v.3 going declares that Daniel was preferred above the presidents and officials because an excellent sprit was on him. Therefore due to the spirit of the Lord that was on his life, the presidents and officials began to conspire against him.

Anytime you are doing the will of the God in your life and walking an upright life, you will always have enemies. The bible says the Lord will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23)

Daniel’s enemies went as far as to approach King Darius deceiving him to establish a decree preventing the people from petitioning any God or man for 30 days.

When opposition is up against you, its not the time to quit, but to press in Christ.

Daniel never said that he would alter his prayer life to accommodate the kings decree. Rather he was steadfast and unmovable.

See Daniels enemies thought they had him because the king couldn’t alter his decree therefore making it mandatory for Daniel to be placed in the lions den.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).”

His enemies planned a weapon to harm him, but it couldn’t prosper, because God sent an angel to shut the mouth of the lions mouth. So rather than Daniel being consumed by the lions, the very people that conspired against him were thrown into the lions den. Let me say that again…The very people that conspired against him were thrown into the lions den.

So I encourage you today, press in your prayer, study your word and meditate. For God is faithful. Every situation and circumstance that you may find yourself in, God will deliver you. Vengeance and recompense belongs to the Lord. He will fight every battle in your life. Just stand still in his promises, and his word.
