Lets pray for the country

In light of all the violence going on in the country, I want to encourage everyone to pray. It is very sad what’s going on right now. But the one solution is to pray. Prayer can change things. So rather than retaliating, and also engaging in situations that can jeopardize your life, we as a nation should pray.

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

However, this is not the time to be fearful, but confident that God will protect and watch over you. God didn’t give you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7)

A sound mind is what every one needs during this time, and that could be obtained by entering the rest of God. “For anyone who enters God's rest (Hebrews 4:10).

In Exodus 12:13 it declares “The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.”

Cover yourselves daily in the blood before. Cover your families in the blood daily.

Don’t take this battle in your hands physically, but take it God through prayer, because the bible says “vengeance and recompense belongs to the Lord (Deuteronomy 32:35)
