Wait with expectancy
Last year for some was fantastic. Whereas for others it ended in confusion and uncertainty of questions. Questions surrounding the prophesy and break through that was spoken.
So rather than victory you:
Were presented with a divorce decree
Financial distress
Experienced illness in you body or family
Plans not bring fulfilled
Business deals not being closed
Dreams just dreams
Ministry amongst false prophets and ungrateful recipients
Experienced a tragedy
So you carried the hope of expectation to 11:59 pm December 31 with an array
of questions surrounding your breakthrough
So here we are in a new year. It seems like you are starting over? At some point you probably just wanted to blow out your testimony of Christ within you.
But don't.
Though the vision tarry wait for it.
Cast not away your confidence because your award is attached to it
See the tactic of the enemy is to allow you to come in with distorted thinking concerning the promises of God.
In Matthew 10:14 Jesus advised the disciples that if they went into a city and they weren't welcomed that they should "shake the dust off their feet."
You are going to have to shake the dust off, and disappointment away. The bible declares "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things Philippians 4:8)
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Despite what you went through its time to bring balance and perspective info your situation. God honors his word above his name, and his word shall never return void.
Despite delay and hindrances it shall come to pass because God, cannot Lie.
So you have to get your thoughts back in perspective.
"But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation
(1 Thessolonians 5:8)"
You cannot be clear headed if you are dwelling upon disappointments of the past and listening to the lies of Satan or spectators amongst you. But we can be effective by renewing our mind in the word of God, and casting down all negativity of the enemy.
Have you ever watched a baby in their process of learning how to walk?
They start with such boldness and confidence and out of nowhere things get shaky and they fall down. With aggression and passion they boldly try again. They repeat this process to they master it.
Well it's time to get back up and be bold. It's time to renew our minds and go forth boldly in the things of God.
God's not done with you my sister. God's not done my brother. Overlook all the naysayers, spectators and haters. You, yourself heard the voice of the lord concerning his plans for your life, so follow them with great earnestness and expectancy.
